    簡介:

    張培震,男,1955年12月23日生,中國科學院院士,地震動力學國家重點實驗室主任,973項目“活動地塊邊界帶動力過程與強震預測”的首席科學家。

    1982年在中國科技大學研究生院和中國地震局地質研究所獲碩士學位;

    1987年獲美國麻省理工學院(MIT)行星與地球科學系地球物理學博士學位;1987-1991年在美國內華達大學新構造研究中心從事博士后研究;

    1991-現在, 中國地震局地質研究所副研究員、研究員;

    2013年當選中國科學院院士。

    研究方向:

    長期從事地震地質和新生代構造地質研究,在中國大陸現今構造變形、青藏高原生長與動力學、活動斷裂習性與強震復發規律、新構造與氣候變化、利用GPS技術研究構造變形與地震活動等。
